About OKC Safe Rooms

We connect the Oklahoma City metro residents with independent local storm shelter installers. We are not a shelter installer and don't employ the companies we introduce you to.

How it works

When you send a request, we share it with up to 3 independent companies that serve your area. They contact you directly and give their own quotes. Any contract is between you and the company you choose.

How we're paid

The service is free for you. Companies may pay us for introductions. That never costs you anything, and you're never obligated to hire anyone.

Checking a company

We can't vouch for any company's work. Ask whether the shelter is designed and tested to FEMA P-320 and the ICC 500 standard, who pulls the permit (Oklahoma City requires one, source), and get the warranty and a written contract. Ask for proof of insurance.
